Adoption

Above all else, we believe children deserve the warmth, comfort and unconditional love of a permanent family.  We offer two types of adoption at Methodist Home for Children.

Foster to Adopt

This program serves parents wanting adopt foster children who are unable to reunite with their biological family. It gives families the training and time they need to make a compatible match with a child. Private Adoption

Private adoptions avoid the foster care system altogether. It brings together birth and adoptive parents based on their mutual interest in the future well-being of a child or children — almost exclusively infants. In these adoptions, the choice of an adoptive family is made by the birth parents or by Methodist home for Children on their behalf. Adoptions can be confidential, semi-open or open, and services include counseling, hospital support and post-adoption support. Read more …
